Broadwood square pianos
Excellent book written by Michael Cole. I started reading it at 22:00 and couldn’t put it down until 2:00. I definitely recommend this book to ant square piano enthusiast… and hurry there are only 700 copies left. This book is only available (as in you will receive it) directly from Michael Cole.

 Alexandre Pierre François Boëly: Sonates et Caprices interpreted by Christine Schornsheim
Played on Hortense de Beauharnais’ Erard Stirrup Action Grand as well as Christine Schornsheim’s own Erard Square (1802) restored in January 2008 by Matthieu Vion (personal assistant to Christopher Clarke). Both these instruments have been magnificently prepared by Christopher Clarke. A very rare interpretation of this composer. Having recently had the pleasure of meeting Christine in person, she honoured me with a ‘live’ of some of the caprices – wonderful.
